no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Is it faith in Jesus, or faith in God?
If it is faith that is important, then is faith in God enough, or is it necessary to have faith in Jesus?
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Does that mean that our Old Testament leaders like Moses, Abraham, David, Job, Noah, etc. are not and will not be in heaven?
We must accept that through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus; the gates of heaven are opened for all of God’s children. Are we willing to admit that perhaps other blind men may be able to see the elephant?
Jews claim to worship the same God that spoke to Abraham. Muslims claim to worship the same God that spoke to Abraham. Christians claim to worship the same God that spoke to Abraham.
Jews must be right because the other religions are offshoots or corruptions of the true faith of Abraham.
Muslims must be right because they are descended from Abraham’s first born son, Ishmael; and Mohamed was sent by God to enlighten the world.
Christians must be right because Jesus was the son of God sent to redeem the world.
If Christians are right, then Abraham is condemned because he did not accept Jesus as his savior and redeemer.
I cannot accept that.
