The Elephant Speaks
One Man’s Elephant book II

Lord, Forgive Me

There have been times when someone has done something that upset me. Did I respond poorly? Even if my response was internal only, I sometimes responded badly. Did I think of them as stupid, crude, an idiot or worse? Perhaps they were just distracted. Perhaps it was just a moment of inattention.

Lord, forgive me for my judgement.

Lord, forgive me for the times I have done some little thing that made someone else’s life a little less pleasant.

Lord, forgive me for the times I have neglected to do some little thing that would have made someone else’s life a little more pleasant.

Lord, forgive me for not making the feelings of others important to my soul.
