Snyder, George L Snyder, Lenore Snyder, God, ethics, morals, religion
God does not speak
in a thunderstorm
in a hurricane
in a tornado.
God does not speak
in an earthquake
in a forest fire
in a volcano.
God speaks
in a whisper
in a quiet breeze
in a mother’s kiss.
God speaks
in a sunset
in a flower
in a dew drop.
God does not speak in a shouting preacher
God speaks in a still moment of quiet.
When you want to hear God’s message
be still, be quiet, listen.
If you cannot hear God speaking
perhaps you are not listening
perhaps this is when God is listening.
